"Nine Men's Morris" is one of the most famous board games, the earliest form of which was already known in ancient Rome. Nowadays, the game is played on a playing field consisting of three squares, one inside the other, whose side centers are connected by straight lines.

At the start, both players receive nine tiles, each in a different color. In the placement phase of the game, you can place the pieces on all intersections of two straight lines. Use the mouse or the touch screen to place the tiles. After you have placed a piece, it is your opponent's turn. Once all the pieces are on the playing field, the move phase begins, in which you can take turns moving a piece to an adjacent free space.

The aim during all phases is to close a mill. To do this, three pieces of the same color must be in a line next to each other. If you manage to form a mill, you can remove one of your opponent's pieces.

If a player only has three pieces left on the board, they can move them freely as long as the new position is empty. You win the game if your opponent has fewer than three stones or can no longer move any stones.
