Blankets – Match Cozy Colors & Create the Perfect Quilt!

Get comfy with Blankets, a relaxing yet surprisingly challenging color-matching puzzle game with a cute, cozy blanket theme! Colorful quilt squares fall from the top of the board, and it's up to you to choose where each one lands. Connect two squares with matching colors or patterns to make them disappear, clear some space, and keep your growing quilt under control.

At first, the puzzle seems simple, but things get trickier as your board fills with an increasingly messy patchwork of blankets. Some squares even feature multiple colors or patterns, adding an extra layer of strategy. Match one of their colors, and only that part disappears, leaving the remaining colors behind. This means every move can change the layout of your board and create new opportunities—or make your next match much harder!

There are no complicated upgrades or power-ups to worry about. Just you, a growing pile of cozy blankets, and one goal: keep matching squares and beat your high score before the board fills to the top. Start with a fresh board, plan your placements, and see how long you can keep your quilt from getting out of control!

How to play Blankets

Your goal is to match blanket squares, clear space, and survive for as long as possible. Place each falling square carefully, connect matching colors or patterns, and prevent the quilt from reaching the top of the board.

• Choose a lane: Click or tap the lane where you want the current blanket square to land. It will fall into place on the board.
• Match matching blankets: Connect two squares with the same color or pattern horizontally or vertically to make the matching parts disappear.
• Watch for multicolored squares: Some squares contain several colors or patterns. Matching one of them removes only the matching part, while the remaining colors or patterns stay on the board.
• Use falling squares to your advantage: When a match disappears, the squares above can fall down to fill the gaps—unless remaining colors or patterns still occupy a square underneath.
• Plan your placements: Think about where each new square will land and whether it can help you create a match now or later.
• Keep the board clear: Make matches regularly to stop the blanket pile from growing too high.
• Beat your high score: Keep playing until the squares reach the top, then start a new run and try to do even better.

Every new run begins with a clean board, but the puzzle gradually becomes more challenging as blankets accumulate. The more complicated your quilt becomes, the harder it can be to line up matching colors and patterns. Pay attention to the layers of each multicolored square, look for matches that open up useful spaces, and think a few moves ahead to keep the board manageable.

Tips and tricks for getting a high score

Want to keep your cozy quilt from turning into a tangled mess? The key is to make useful matches while keeping future moves in mind. A little planning can create more space and prevent awkward combinations from taking over the board.

• Look for horizontal and vertical matches: Matching squares can connect in either direction, so check the whole board before choosing a lane.
• Pay attention to multicolored squares: Remember that matching one color removes only that part. The remaining colors and patterns can still affect how other squares fall.
• Think about what falls next: Clearing a match can cause squares above it to drop. Consider where they will land and whether the movement might create another match.
• Make room whenever possible: Clear matching parts before the board becomes too crowded. More open space gives you more options for future placements.
• Avoid focusing on just one area: Check different parts of the quilt for useful matches instead of repeatedly building up one section.
• Plan for the next square: Before dropping a blanket, consider how its placement will affect the surrounding colors and patterns.
• Learn from every run: Notice which placements make the board difficult to manage, then use that experience to improve your next attempt.
• Keep chasing your personal best: Each restart gives you a fresh board and another chance to build a better score.
